Terms and Conditions

General Terms & Conditions

1. Booking and Payment:

  • Advance Notice: Orders for Brunch, Lunch, Dinner by design must be placed at least 1 week in advance. For all other categories, please place your order at least 72 hours in advance.
  • Invoice Validity: Invoices are valid for 48 hours.
  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via Credit Card, PayPal, Bank Transfer, CashApp.

2. Cancellations and Refunds:

  • No Refunds: All payments made are non-refundable.
  • Securing Your Date: The initial deposit secures your spot. We may turn down other orders to fulfill your request.

3. Customizations and Special Requests:

  • Additional Charges: Custom orders, such as themed charcuterie boards or specific menu modifications, may incur additional charges. Please notify us at the time of booking.
  • Advance Planning: For special events or catering, we recommend discussing your needs with our team at least 7 days before the event for the best experience.

4. Delivery and Pickup:

  • Delivery Fee: Delivery is $1.50 per mile both ways from Winston Churchill High School in Potomac.
  • Pickup Option: Pickup is available from Winston Churchill High School, near the stadium entrance in Potomac. Please inform us if you wish to arrange for pickup.
  • Timely Collection: All orders should be picked up during the designated time slots. Delays may incur additional charges.

5. Liability and Allergies:

  • Allergen Information: Glamour and Gourmandise is not responsible for allergic reactions, dietary restrictions, or sensitivities. Our products may contain or come into contact with Milk, Eggs, Peanuts, tree nuts, Fish, Shellfish, Wheat, Soy, or other allergens.
  • Customer Responsibility: It is your responsibility to inform your guests of potential allergen risk and take appropriate precautions.

6. Food Quality and Storage:

  • Freshness: We recommend consuming all food on the day of delivery or pickup for optimal freshness.
  • Transportation: Products should be transported on a flat surface, away from direct sunlight and heat or use a cooler or heat storage bags depending on the items.
  • Storage Liability: Glamour and Gourmandise is not responsible for the quality of food once it has left our possession or has been stored improperly.

7. Event Requirements and Setup:

  • Setup Needs: For events featuring grazing tables or similar setups, please discuss specific requirements with us at booking.
  • Additional Equipment: If you need serving equipment (e.g., serving platters, utensils, tables) not included in your package, please request these at the time of booking. Additional charges may apply.

8. Photographs and Promotion:

  • Marketing Use: We may take photographs of the food and event for marketing purposes. By placing an order, you consent to the use of these photos in our promotional materials, social media, and website without any compensation.

By placing an order with Glamour and Gourmandise, you agree to these terms and conditions. We are committed to providing a luxurious and seamless experience and look forward to making your event unforgettable!

Rental Terms and Security Deposit Policy

1. Rental Agreement

  • All rentals must be accompanied by a signed agreement outlining the items rented, rental period, and total cost.

2. Security Deposit

  • A refundable security deposit of 35% of the total rental value is required for all rentals. This deposit is held to cover potential damages, loss, or late returns of rented items.

3. Refund Process

  • The security deposit will be refunded in full within 5 business days after the items are returned in their original condition. Deductions may apply if:
    • Items are damaged or broken
    • Items are returned late
    • Items are missing or incomplete

4. Payment Terms

  • The full payment, including the rental fee and security deposit, is required at the time of booking to secure your rental items and date.

5. Inspection and Documentation

  • A pre-rental inspection will be conducted at the time of pickup or delivery to document the condition of the items.
  • A post-rental inspection will be conducted upon return.

6. Cancellation and Return Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event will receive a full refund of the rental fee.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the event may forfeit up to 50% of the rental fee.
  • All rented items must be returned within 48 hours after the event unless otherwise agreed. Late returns may incur additional charges.

7. Additional Notes

  • All rentals are subject to availability.
  • Delivery and pickup services are available for an additional fee, based on location and rental size.
